After the release of The Romaleos 3 and 3 XD, it was clear to many weightlifting fans that the Romaleos 2 would remain the non-plus ultra.
After more than 2 years of development, NIKE is now launching the Romaleos 4, the direct successor to the Romaleos 2. Here NIKE combines the full functionality of the Romaleos 2 as a weightlifter with an innovative and modern design.
Max Lang was directly involved in the further development of the previous models. The goal was to get the perfect shoe for the demands of intensive weightlifting workouts on the way.
The Nike Romaleos 4 is specially designed for Olympic weightlifting.
Like the Romaleos 2, the Romaleos 4 has two robust, adjustable straps over the lacing system. The robust midsole with heel lift not only allows optimal power transmission from the ground but also promotes explosiveness when lifting. A stable base for heavy weights is provided by the wide heel, while the rubber profile allows for long-lasting traction that meets the requirements of your sport.
The perfect shoe for squats
The Romaleos 4 is therefore not only perfect for the classic weightlifting exercises of tearing and pushing, but also for squats. The raised heel puts you in the perfect squat position and forms a stable foundation.
