TYR Sport, Inc. has been known as a leading manufacturer of swim and triathlon apparel for nearly 40 years. In 2022, the company now launched the L-1 Lifter and the CXT-1 Trainer, two shoe models for weightlifting and cross-training. In addition, the apparel division was expanded to include fitness and established series for functional training.
TYR’s CXT-1 trainer is designed from the ground up to withstand the toughest competitions and training regimens. It features a patent-pending platform and offers a responsive NRG foam midsole. The forefoot is designed to be flexible for explosive movement and agility, while the mesh upper provides breathability.
With the supple and durable heel clip on the CXT-1, you’ll glide fluidly up and down during handstand push-ups. Meanwhile, the extended toe clip improves the durability and grip of the shoe. The entire rear part of the shoe is edged, which gives the model even more stability. The heel-to-toe drop is 9 millimeters. As a result, the CXT provides a reliable foundation for weightlifting as well as comfort, ergonomics, and safety for sprinting, climbing, and jumping.
