TYR L-1 Lifter – The first weightlifting shoe with a wide toe box

TYR Sport, Inc. has been known as a leading manufacturer of swim and triathlon apparel for nearly 40 years. In 2022, the company now launched the L-1 Lifter and the CXT-1 Trainer, two shoe models for weightlifting and cross-training. In addition, the apparel division was expanded to include fitness and established series for functional training.

The special feature of the TYR L-1 Lifter is the patent-pending, anatomically-shaped toe box. The shoe also offers a 21mm heel-to-toe-drop. It fits snugly and offers two adjustable straps to keep your foot from sliding around. However, it is wide enough in the toe area for the toes to spread out to allow natural foot movement, distributing body weight evenly and thus stabilizing the rest of the body. Because the foot functions best to provide stability for the entire lower body when the toes can spread out!

In addition, the shoe has a flat and wide sole, which guarantees you optimal stability even during the toughest workouts.
